Profile

Simcha Barkai is an assistant professor聽in the Seidner Department of Finance at the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He studies competition between firms in the U.S. and implications for macroeconomic and asset pricing. His work on the decline in the labor share of income has been covered by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal,听The Economist, The Financial Times, Bloomberg, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, The Washington Post, The New Republic, and The Nation.
