COMPANIES TAKE ACTION ON UKRAINE: We are updating the blog post with the latest responses from our member companies. Here鈥檚 more of the latest member news:

Apple released its latest , revealing that 59% of open U.S. leadership roles were filled by people from underrepresented communities in the past year, and 47% were filled by women. The data also showed overall growth in the number of women and underrepresented employees hired globally.

Machias Savings Bank announced the recipients of the first round of grants in its year-round , designed to support nonprofits and charitable organizations across the state that are helping to move Maine forward. Over the course of 2022, the 鈥淵ES!鈥� Grant will distribute $100,000 across five organizations that refuse to take 鈥漬o鈥� as an answer to helping others succeed: Women for Healthy Rural Living, Downeast Salmon Federation, Francis Malcolm Science Center, Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP), and Cobscook Institute.

U.S. Bank research finds that and overall financial strength has increased for all generations and genders. While the March 2020 study showed that women were less confident and less engaged with managing money than men, generally started investing later than men and tended to associate negative emotions with financial planning, the most recent survey shows that many of these gaps are shrinking. Additionally, the study demonstrates that this new generational of female investors is comprised of women who have more money saved than any other generation of women, are overwhelmingly in charge of many financial decisions, and associate financial planning with feelings of confidence, competitiveness and joy.
