New Catalyst graduates

Carroll School summer management program for non-management majors marks its 10th year

Seventy undergraduate students have graduated from this year's Summer Management Catalyst Program, designed by Boston College's Carroll School of Management to help non-majors develop a broad foundation in the functional areas of management.

Throught the intensive eight-week, eleven-credit curriculum鈥攚hich includes coursework in accounting, finance, marketing, Excel, business law, and career strategies鈥擟atalyst students learn how organizations operate. And, with enhanced credentials, they also significantly boost their prospects for landing competitive internships and other positions.

鈥淥ur 10th year of Catalyst was a great success and proved once again how beneficial the program is for our outstanding students," said Thomas Wesner, director of the Catalyst program and associate professor of the practice in the Carroll School's Business Law and Society Department.

The 2023 Catalyst class, which graduated on July 14, was drawn primarily from the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, with several students from other BC schools and other colleges and universities.
